School Location

The American Academy Limassol began its educational journey with the founding of the primary school, which relocated to its current premises at 7 Lefkas Street in 1990. A decade later, in 2001, the school expanded its horizons by opening a Greek secondary school. The growth story continued in 2008 with the addition of a new kindergarten in Limassol.

The school’s dedication to quality education is reflected in its accreditation as an online examination centre for English language by City and Guilds.

Facilities at American Academy Limassol

American Academy Limassol prides itself on providing an extensive range of facilities to support a well-rounded education. The libraries, located on the ground floor of the secondary school and in the heart of the primary school, offer a collection of over 5,000 books and resources. Additionally, there are three computer rooms available for student use outside of regular school hours, all under the watchful eye of teachers.

Sports are an integral part of life at AAL. The campus features courts for netball, football, tennis, volleyball, and basketball. The school gym, centrally located, is always bustling with activity. Expansive playgrounds, equipped with all necessary safety measures, ensure students’ well-being. The school theatre, named in honour of Dr. Yiota Demetriou, is a dynamic space used for both dramatic and musical performances.

Boarding

For day students, comfortable boarding facilities are available conveniently close to the school. The boarding package includes laundry services, television, video and cable TV, computer equipment with internet access, and 24/7 supervision. The comprehensive boarding service package also covers tuition fees, airport transfers, and three daily meals.
